Pink Releases Intense, Disturbing, and Hopeful F**kin' Perfect Video

As has been the case a number of times in the past, Pink has released a new music video, and it is likely to raise some eyebrows. However, in another consistency for her, the new clip for the song "F**kin' Perfect" aims to raise issues and challenge viewers in an effort to draw attention to serious problems in our world. This time it is focused on cutting and by extension suicide. The music video becomes very bleak indeed at one point with graphic depictions of self-mutilation and blood. However, there is hopefulness in the end that negative cycles can be broken. Pink released a statement on her blog about the video. It reads in part:
"I'm sure my newest video for "F**kin' Perfect" will be much like some of my other videos, which basically means I expect it will ruffle some feathers. My favorite books, art pieces, films, and music, always have something jarring about them. I want art to make me think. In order to do that, it may piss me off, or make me uncomfortable. That promotes awareness and change, or at least some discussion. That is my intention. You can't move mountains by whispering at them."
